Car Kit Installation - all capital cities except Melbourne

A professional car kit installation service at your home, office or any other convenient location in any capital city and many regional cities in Australia. Note that the price shown is for most capital cities - regional and remote areas may cost more (place order online and we will quote for additional costs, or email us for pricing). This is a service only, does not include the car kit or antenna which you can order from us at the same time if required. We use one of Australia's leading car kit installers to provide you with a professional installation service for a range of popular hands free car kits.

After ordering our service, we will arrange for the installation to be carried out at your home, office or any other convenient location and time (you will be advised at the time of booking if the location is unsuitable for health & safety or liability insurance reasons). We usually require only three working days notice to arrange an installation and is unlikely to exceed five days, but this will be dependent on engineer & parts availability.

The booking time advised has a window of 2 hours which is the arrival time for our technician, but please allow additional time for the install to be completed. We do not quote times for installations as each one is unique, but as a guide you can expect a standard car kit install to take from 20 minutes to 1.5 hours.

An important part of the process is that our technician checks your vehicle's electrics and discusses the specifics of the work including cradle, microphone, and speaker positioning with you prior to installation. Once agreed, the following work will be carried out:

- Fitting the central control box
- Installing the device cradle if provided as part of the kit
- Making the necessary electrical connections
- Fixing a glass mount external antenna and/or holeless bracket if required (antenna and bracket cost is extra depending on type required)

After installation, our technician will carry out a series of post-install checks to ensure the work has been carried out to your satisfaction, and will also run through the basic operation of the hands free car kit. Provision of this service is subject to acceptance of our installation providers Terms & Conditions for installation, which we will email you after ordering or beforehand upon request. By confirming this service you have indicated that you have read and accepted the Terms & Conditions.

Please be advised that a cancellation fee of $60 will be charged if access to the vehicle is not possible for reasons beyond our control, less than 24 hours notice is received to change the appointment date/time, cover is not available in poor weather conditions, or the Terms & Conditions of service have not been met.

If required, the installer may require additional payment for variations from the standard install, including such things as:

- uninstallation of an existing car kit before installing the new one.
- provision of a separate speaker if the kit does not include one, and/or if your vehicle's sound system is incompatible.
- provision of antenna and/or non-standard antenna installation.
- supply of special brackets, wiring looms/harnesses and/or cables if required by your specific vehicle.
- installation into a vehicle that is not a sedan, station wagon, 4WD or SUV.
- Bluetooth pairing of additional phones and/or extended training on usage.
