Carcomm HTC HD7 Power Cradle with antenna coupler

The main function of the Carcomm HTC HD7 Power Cradle (CMPC-705-AC) is to power and charge your device while you're on the move, and to hold it securely into its position. The unique and patented design of the active holder keeps your HD7 in place and protects it from being damaged. The antenna coupler allows connection of an external (car mount) antenna if required.

The unique and patented cradle uses injection moulding manufacturing which ensures a perfect fit to your device.

For landscape mode you can easily rotate the holder into a horizontal position. This is often used while using navigation software on the phone. If you want to use your phone in portrait mode you can easily rotate it back into a vertical position.

Integrated in the holder is an efficient charging circuit ( suitable for 12V & 24V ) which powers and charges your device. This will keep your device charged and ready for use inside and outside your car.

The included Antenna Coupler allows the connection of an external antenna to reduce interference and maximise the chances of utilising any available signal. More information about this here.

The holder is delivered with everything needed to use it right away. Use the window mount to install the holder on your windscreen, plug in the cigarette lighter adaptor and you are ready to go.

The design of the Carcomm Power Cradle ensures that your device is protected and sits firmly in the cradle while you are driving. It is a "commercial holder" where prescribed by law. To let the cradle blend in with the interior of your car the colour of the cradle matches the dashboard ( dark grey ) with the added bonus that it won't attract attention.

The cradle has a cable which ends in a 12-24V cigarette lighter adapter for providing power to it and thus to your device.

Alternatively, by integrating the charging system into the cradle you can very easily build the cradle into your vehicle. Simply remove the cigarette lighter plug and use the included cable with in-line fuse to hard-wire the cradle into the vehicle.

To mount the cradle into the vehicle you can make use of the included window/dash suction mount. Otherwise you can use the included rotating swivel-mount for a fixed installation. This can be mounted in the vehicle with the included screws.

NB Cradle is pictured with device in it - price does not include the device itself or the antenna. Carcomm cradles work without needing an external antenna. However if you live in a weak signal area where an external antenna would assist, you can do so. There are many different antennas available; we have several compatible antennas suitable for the Telstra NextG network here.
